The merry year is bornLike the bright berry from the naked thorn.— Hartley Coleridge
Went for a New Year’s Day walk with my family at Shelby Bottoms Park and was reminded of this line. I hope this year will be as merry as last. 2010 was fantastic — full of adventure, challenges and triumphs. Among other things, I earned my Master’s degree, lived in England for some months, visited Ireland, Wales, France and Spain, interned in the Mayor’s office, got a new job, learned aerial silks, moved to Washington, D.C, and took up residence in my first ever roommate-less apartment. I can only hope that as time moves forward, so will I. :)
